The video driver could easily be the problem. Many vendors did not have their drivers certified in time to be included on the WinXP or Win2000 install CD's. I know from personal experience that was the case with ATI. With that said, there is something else you should look at. If PPT runs into a serious time crunch, it will simply skip things to "catch up". If your presentation is very "busy" with videos, sounds, lots of animations and slide transitions, the playback machine(s)/CD Player(s) may not be able to keep up. Take a look at the presentation and make certain you have a few seconds between animations/transitions. |
